About

Life is a journey to completeness. Societies emphasize certain traits, they grow and evolve people who are wonderful in a few areas of life. We loose the connections: how to engage in our own body in an optimal way, the ability to bridge the world around us, the mind & our spirit. By doing yoga, you will reunite these divisions. With regular practice you will achieve a greater level of physical fitness, better relationships (with people, food, the environment), less stress, and an ability to dwell fully in your desires.

I have been teaching yoga since 2004 and studying yoga since 2000.  Some of my wonderful teachers including Sianna Sherman, Wendy Andersen, Shalini Latour, Rosanna Juncos, Naime Jezzeny, Sue Elkind, Irena Miller and Mitchel Bleier among many other bright lights. I am registered with the Yoga Alliance as an ERYT 500 (which means I am an experienced yoga teacher, having taught over 2,000 hours worth of yoga classes and having done over 500 hours of studying yoga). I have taught people aged from 10 to 90, those who are in excellent health trying to achieve the highest peaks of performance, those who haven’t done anything resembling exercise in years, and those who are injured or living with illness. Whether you are looking to improve your health because the need to focus on other areas of life has prevented you from taking care of yourself for some time, sickness or stress having gotten to the point that you have to make shifts, or you are just looking for ways to step up an already amazing routine to the next level; my classes are for you.

    • Hi Diana,

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I’m still not teaching that many public classes. Just Monday night in Clifton at It’s Yoga and a gentle yoga class Tuesday during the day in Hyde Park at Shine Yoga Center. I am teaching a free class at 9:00 AM on Saturday, November 26th at Lululemon in Hyde Park that I would love to see you two at if you can make it. I hope things are going well!!!!

      Happy trails!

      Jo
